Dale Robertson

Dale planned to be a nuclear physicist prior to Vietnam War which felt that the USMC Air Wing needed him more than his career. After his honorable discharge in 1972 he when to finish up his degree and after several side roads ended up in the computer industry in 1974. Computers back then took up a room with special environments to run them, and Dale was an ace at fixing the hardware and programing the computers (at that time a very rare breed). He was quickly hired by a Minicomputer company. After about the first year he was hired by a computer that was taking the printing industry to paperless printing. His charge was to setup the hardware and design new products for the company software platform as they provided a turnkey system to their clients. The company was a hit right from the start however management did not prepare for the future and the company was purchased by their largest client after about a year. They believe that Dale was not need as he was a cocky young man and decided to terminate his employment (biggest mistake they could have made). Dale saw the written on the wall about the future of computers and decided to go it on his own. In 1976 Dale open his first of several corporation’s call ‘Computerization Corporation’ and within six month his prior employer would contract with him to support their needs has the personal they said could handle the job had about every client down.

Then in 1982 came a meet of the minds. Though one of the Dale suppliers he was introduced to the owners of R Square Systems a service company for Hospital Cat scan and MRI units. Within a year the new join company ended up servicing about 80% of the hospital in the US. Then came another turning point in Dale career. The join company needed capital to go international so one of our biggest clients made us an offer we couldn’t refuse and brought us.

Dale again was seeing the writing on the wall. After leaving the new company after about 6 months he started developing new micro-computers mainly for engineering firms. Out of that came ‘Analog and Digital Exchange’ in 1984 and in 1985 one of the people he worked with at Huntington Hospital called Joyce Pranski (one of the smartest moves he made by adding the human side to a computer company) ending up join him and shortly after that they formed the current company ‘ADX Computer Services’.

Dale took the role of ‘Director of Technological Services’ and Joyce is ‘Director of Administration’ with the phycological of providing the client with what they need and not what the supplier wants to sell them and to this date that still holds true.
